Connect Everything.

Native Integration

We put secure integration and real-time, accurate data at the heart of our solution. Afflo Connect enables secure, two-way health information exchange with external systems, both on-premises or in the cloud. It can securely exchange data with hospital EHR/EMRs, lab information systems, legacy donor or transplant software or registries, and reporting entities.

Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing and antibody results are accepted directly from participating laboratories, data can be ingested from PDF reports, and Afflo Connect also uses industry-leading Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) to extract data from paper-based documents.

The Latest Healthcare Messaging Standards

Afflo is compliant with HL7, FHIR message standards for interoperability, and FIPPA/HIPAA privacy and personal information standards. HL7 message definitions are pre-built, allowing for rapid creation of the various message types needed. Afflo Connect interoperability platform enables healthcare information exchange and interoperability between any combination of on-premises or cloud-based endpoints: hospital EMR/EHRs like Epic and Cerner, lab information systems, legacy donor or transplant software, or any reporting registry. Afflo also supports the older HL7 V2 and V3 standards.

Any-To-Any Integration

With Afflo, users across the transplant ecosystem can exchange healthcare and operational data in real-time. Afflo’s advanced data integration approach enables organizations to create secure, real-time, and effective data connections while reducing the integration burdens most organizations face today.
Afflo empowers transplant system experts to own and control their data, and business rules, in the cloud, to share authoritative organ and patient data from anywhere, in real-time.

Build On Existing Systems

With Afflo Connect, legacy systems can easily be extended and enhanced with a new lightweight, decision-driven façade that allows for incremental refactoring. This makes use of legacy infrastructure, reduces development time, promotes pilot projects, and allows for quick-to-market solutions.
Afflo allows for the creation of interoperability and exposed services as needed, providing the flexibility to incrementally replace systems.

Integration Control

Afflo Connect does not prescribe integration paths but gives organizations control over how best to define them.
Afflo Connect allows users to create and manage their own marketplaces of integrations and APIs throughout the integration lifecycle, from development to deployment. No proprietary APIs means the ability to integrate anything in an organization's IT landscape. Users can easily develop and expose new APIs through integration services to develop native HL7, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and many other APIs using industry-leading tools.
